Dr. Robert W O'Leary

Dr. O’Leary is a Board Certified Anesthesiologist specializing in Pain Management and has been in practice for over 20 years. Dr. O'Leary uses a multi-disciplinary approach that includes the most effective pain medications, trigger point injections, knee and shoulder injections, X-ray guided spinal and musculoskeletal injections, Medical Marijuana and physical therapy.

Addiction is a treatable disease. A combination of medications and out-patient counseling is utilized to treat substance abuse. Our office provides a comprehensive medical evaluation and confidential treatment.

 Dr. O'Leary graduated from the Stony Brook University School of Medicine in 1991. Dr. O'Leary completed a Residency in Anesthesiologogy at Mount Sinai Hospital and a Pain Medicine Fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.  He is Board Certified in both specialties and has advanced training to prescribe Suboxone and certify patients for Medical Marijuana. 

Dr. Robert O'Leary has practiced for over twenty years in East Patchogue, NY and also performs office-based Anesthesia on a part-time basis.

We participate with most insurance carriers including Worker's Comensation and No Fault. We do not accept Medicaid plans at this time. Self-pay options are available for Suboxone therapy and Medical Marijuana Certification.  Our office is wheel chair accessible and conveniently located right off Sunrise Highway. We offer both early morning and late afternoon hours. Appointments can be made within 48 hours and waiting room time to see the physician is approximately 10-15 minutes. Our goal is to deliver the personalized care that you need in a compassionate and efficient manner. Our caring staff is here to assist you with all of your insurance questions and concerns including authorizations and precertifications.
